Resilient Lady Cruise Ship Guide: Everything You Need to Know (2026–27)
Resilient Lady is Virgin Voyages' third ship: an adults-only (18+), 110,000-ton ship carrying around 2,770 guests, with every restaurant included in the fare and no buffet or main dining room. Through 2026 she's based in Miami, sailing short Bahamas and Caribbean cruises. In May 2027 she crosses the Atlantic to Spain for a summer in Europe. She's the only Virgin ship with the comedy show Mind Mangler.
Where Does Resilient Lady Sail in 2026–27?

Autumn 2026 – short cruises from Miami. Four and five night round trips to Grand Turk, Key West, Puerto Plata and Virgin's Beach Club at Bimini. These run through October.

Winter 2026–27 – longer Caribbean cruises. From November she switches to six to eight night sailings. Ports on her schedule include Roatán, Costa Maya, Belize, Progreso, Ocho Rios, Samaná, San Juan, St Croix, St Maarten and Tortola.

2 May 2027 – transatlantic from Miami. A 14-night crossing to Spain with calls in Morocco and Spain.

Summer 2027 – Europe. After the crossing, she's scheduled for Mediterranean sailings. Her listings include departures from Barcelona and Athens.
She's had a busy career already. She launched on the Greek Islands in 2023, spent winter 2023–24 in Australia, and returned to the Mediterranean before settling in Miami.

Are tips included on Resilient Lady?
Not on new bookings. For anything booked on or after 7 October 2025, Virgin charges gratuities separately: $20 per Sailor per night if you prepay, or $22 per night if it's charged to your onboard account. Older "legacy" bookings still have tips included. Once the service charge is paid, you won't be asked to tip again on board.

Is there a drinks package on Resilient Lady?
No. Virgin doesn't sell an unlimited drinks package. Instead you buy a Bar Tab, which is prepaid credit you spend on board. Virgin often adds bonus credit when you buy a Bar Tab before you sail. Premium fares come with a Bar Tab credit built in. Drinks are priced closer to a city bar than a typical cruise ship, so a Bar Tab usually works out cheaper than a package for moderate drinkers.
Is Resilient Lady Adults Only?
Yes. Every Virgin Voyages sailing is strictly 18+. There are no kids' clubs, waterslides or family programmes on board. The ship is built around restaurants, bars, wellness and nightlife instead. It feels more like a boutique resort than a traditional cruise ship.

Resilient Lady's cabins follow the same design as her sisters. Every cabin has app-controlled lighting, curtains and air conditioning.

Our tip: on the short Miami sailings, a Sea Terrace gives you the most for your money. You'll use that hammock on every sea day.
Resilient Lady Restaurants (All Included)
There are no upcharges and no buffet. You book sit-down restaurants in the Virgin app, and your reservation window opens 15, 45 or 60 days before sailing depending on your fare. Gunbae and Pink Agave go first, so book those as soon as your window opens.

The Wake: steak and seafood with retro glamour, at the back of the ship.

Extra Virgin: Italian, with handmade pasta. If you can't get a booking, try walking up to the bar.

Pink Agave: upscale Mexican sharing plates and a big mezcal list.

Gunbae: Korean BBQ at shared tables, with soju drinking games. It's great for meeting people.

Resilient Lady Shows and Nightlife
Resilient Lady launched with her own line-up of shows rather than copying her sisters.

Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle is a comedy "mind-reading" show that goes deliberately, gloriously wrong. It comes from Mischief, the company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, and you'll only find it on Resilient Lady.

Persephone is an immersive rock-and-roll retelling of the Greek myth of Persephone, Hades and Demeter, staged around a standing audience in The Red Room. It has since been added to Scarlet Lady too.

The Miss Behave Show is a loud, chaotic, audience-participation game show and one of the most popular nights on board.

Festival Stage: rotating guest comedians, magicians, mentalists and a cappella groups in The Red Room.
The Red Room is the ship's two-deck theatre, and it reconfigures for every show. Show line-ups change, so check the Virgin app for your sailing.
Best bars: Sip, the Champagne bar, has live acoustic music. On the Rocks has a live band most nights. The Social Club hosts drag karaoke, and The Groupie has private karaoke rooms. Late at night, The Manor is the nightclub.
Scarlet Night on Resilient Lady
Scarlet Night is Virgin's signature party, held once on every voyage. The ship turns red, pop-up performances appear in stairwells and lounges, and the night ends with a huge pool-deck party.

Wear red. There's no strict dress code, but almost everyone joins in, from a red T-shirt to full sequins.

Wear something you don't mind getting wet. The party often ends with guests in the pool.

Book dinner early, around 7pm, so you don't miss the build-up.

Wander before the main party. The best moments are the small pop-up performances in stairwells and hallways that most guests walk straight past.

Set an alarm for your dining window. Prime slots at Pink Agave and Gunbae disappear fast.

Don't panic if you miss out. Virgin holds back restaurant slots for booking on board, so check the app again as soon as you embark.

Escape the main pool on sea days. Head higher up or to the back of the ship for quieter sunbeds away from the party crowd.

Get to the Red Room early. Arrive 20 to 30 minutes before Persephone and Mind Mangler. The best spots go quickly.

On short Miami sailings, plan around Bimini. The Beach Club at Bimini is Virgin's own beach day, and it's included in your fare.
