Quick answer: Perfect Day CocoCay (formerly Perfect Day at CocoCay) is Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas. There's no admission fee, the beaches, Oasis Lagoon pool, kids' splash areas, tram and main restaurants are all included in your cruise fare, and only the headline extras Thrill Waterpark, Hideaway Beach, Coco Beach Club, the balloon, zipline and cabanas cost more.

Why is it now "Perfect Day CocoCay"?
In late August 2026, Royal Caribbean dropped the "at" the island is now officially Perfect Day CocoCay. Royal Caribbean announced it in a social media video on 27 August and has updated its website and booking system to match.
Nothing on the island has changed. It's the same place, same attractions, same pier. Your cruise documents may still show the old name for a while. The new format lines up with Royal Caribbean's planned Perfect Day Mexico in Costa Maya.
What is Perfect Day CocoCay?
Perfect Day CocoCay is Royal Caribbean's private island on Little Stirrup Cay in the Berry Islands, Bahamas about 55 miles north of Nassau. It's used only by Royal Caribbean Group ships, and it sits right next door to Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruise Line's private island.
The island is small under a mile long but it's packed. Since its big 2019 makeover it has a pier (no tendering, you walk straight off the ship), the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean, a waterpark with the tallest waterslide in North America, a helium balloon ride, a zipline, three beach areas, an adults-only beach club and an upscale beach club with overwater cabanas.

Is Perfect Day CocoCay free?
Yes there's no admission fee. If your cruise stops at CocoCay, the island is already included in your fare. You can spend the whole day on the beaches, in the pools and eating at the included restaurants without paying a cent.
Think of it like a resort: the base day is free, the "wow" attractions are paid add-ons.

Booking these in advance through the Cruise Planner is almost always cheaper than paying on the island the day of, and popular items like cabanas and the waterpark can sell out on busy sailings — especially in summer and around holidays, which tend to run the highest prices of the year.
Is there wifi at CocoCay?
Only if you have a VOOM package. Royal Caribbean's VOOM internet carries over to the island, so if you bought wifi onboard or in the Cruise Planner, it keeps working on CocoCay at no extra cost. There's no free public wifi on the island, so sort your package before you dock.
What is the weather like at CocoCay?
