Where Does Celebrity Eclipse Sail in 2026–27?
Celebrity Eclipse splits her year between the Caribbean in winter and Europe in summer and autumn, with transatlantic crossings in between.

Autumn 2026 (Mediterranean)

Through October: Adriatic and Greek Isles sailings between Ravenna (for Venice) and Piraeus (Athens). A typical 11-night route calls at Split, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Valletta, Mykonos, Santorini and Rhodes.

Are tips included on Celebrity Eclipse?
No, unless you're in The Retreat. Celebrity adds daily gratuities to your onboard account, and the rates went up on 29 July 2026:

If you booked before 29 July 2026, you can still lock in the old rates by prepaying your gratuities before you sail. A separate service charge (currently 20%) is added to bar and spa bills.
Is the drinks package worth it on Celebrity Eclipse?
If you'd buy Wi-Fi anyway and drink more than a few cocktails or glasses of wine a day, the All Included fare usually works out cheaper than buying the drinks package and Wi-Fi separately. Celebrity uses dynamic pricing, so compare the All Included price for your sailing with the Cruise Only fare before you decide.
Is Celebrity Eclipse Adults Only or Family Friendly?
Celebrity Eclipse is not adults only. Families are welcome, and Camp at Sea runs activities for children and teens. The ship has no waterslides or thrill rides, though, and evenings lean towards cocktail bars and live music, so most guests are couples and adults. The glass-roofed Solarium is the adults-only pool area.
What Makes Celebrity Eclipse Different?
The Lawn Club
The top deck has half an acre of real, growing grass. You can play bocce or croquet, putt, or lie on the lawn with a drink from the Sunset Bar at the back of the ship. Celebrity also lists Hot Glass classes for Eclipse, where you can make your own glass piece for a fee. Check the onboard planner to see whether they're running on your sailing.
The Solarium
The Solarium is an adults-only pool under a glass roof, with hot tubs and padded loungers. Because it's covered, it's the best place to swim on a cool day in Norway or the British Isles.
The Sky Observation Lounge
Right at the front of the ship, this lounge has wraparound windows. It's quiet by day and becomes a music venue at night. Celebrity's newer Edge-class ships don't have a forward observation lounge like this, which is one reason Solstice-class fans stay loyal.
The refreshed Retreat (2025)
The spring 2025 dry dock gave Retreat suite guests a new Retreat Lounge on Deck 5 and an exclusive sundeck on Deck 16, alongside new carpets, furniture and upholstery around the ship.

Is Celebrity Eclipse getting the big Solstice-class refit?
Celebrity is spending about $250 million updating all five Solstice-class ships. Celebrity Solstice was first (March 2026) and Celebrity Reflection follows in March 2027 with 13 new venues, including a new Celebrity Pool Club. Celebrity hasn't yet announced a date or new venues for Eclipse, so treat anything you read about her version as speculation until it does.

Our tip: AquaClass costs a little more than a standard veranda, but you get Blu, a quieter restaurant reserved for AquaClass guests, every night of the cruise. If you'd book speciality dining a few times anyway, it can be the better deal.

The main theatre stages Celebrity's production shows, comedians and guest acts. In April 2024 Celebrity premiered three new shows on Eclipse: Topper, The Chandelier and Rock City. Line-ups change, so check the Celebrity app or onboard planner for what's running on your sailing.
